Localz is operated by Zanarkand LLC ("Localz," "we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service and Privacy Policy govern your access to and use of the Localz mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By accessing or using Localz, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- User – Any individual who accesses or uses the Service
- Business Partner – A business or organization that creates a listing or subscribes to platform features
- User Content – Content submitted by Users, such as reviews, photos, or event submissions
- Business Content – Content submitted by Business Partners, including listings, logos, images, and promotions
2. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information and to keep it updated.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
4. Description of the Service
Localz provides a platform where:
- Users can discover and browse local businesses, events, and community content
- Business Partners can create listings and access optional platform features
Localz may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.
5. Business Partner Subscriptions and Payments
Business Partners may subscribe to paid plans through external channels outside of the Localz mobile app to access optional platform features. Purchases and payments are not processed within the app.
By subscribing, Business Partners:
- Authorize recurring billing through a third-party payment processor
- Agree to published pricing, features, and billing terms
- Acknowledge that failed or missed payments may result in suspension or loss of access
6. Refunds and Cancellations
Subscriptions may be canceled at any time. Refunds are not guaranteed and are issued at our discretion. No prorated refunds are provided.
7. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Post unlawful, harmful, misleading, or infringing content
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliation
- Use automated systems (bots or scrapers) without permission
- Interfere with the security or operation of the Service
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
8. Content Ownership and Licenses
User Content
You retain ownership of your content. By submitting content, you grant Localz a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute it in connection with the Service.
Business Content
Business Partners retain ownership of their content and grant Localz similar rights to display and promote it within the platform.
You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate third-party rights or applicable laws.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service may integrate with third-party services such as payment processors or mapping providers. Localz is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
10. Privacy Policy
Information We Collect
- Contact information (name, email address, business information)
- Account and authentication data, including one-time passcodes (OTP)
- Usage and device data (device type, access times, interaction data)
How We Use Information
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service
- Authenticate users and secure accounts
- Communicate service-related updates and support messages
- Enable features such as event participation and business discovery
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data for marketing purposes.
Data Sharing
Personal data is shared only with service providers necessary to operate the app or when required by law or legal process.
11. Account Deletion
Users may delete their account at any time directly within the Localz mobile app.

Login → You → Settings (cog icon) → Account Settings → Remove Account
You must be logged into the account you wish to delete. Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

- Organization and role associations
Data Retention
Certain data may be retained for legal, security, or operational purposes, including audit logs or billing records. Retained data is stored only as long as legally required or reasonably necessary and is not used for marketing.
12. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. However, no system is completely secure.
13. Children’s Privacy
Localz is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
14. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy or availability of listings, events, or promotions.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Localz is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Localz and its affiliates from claims arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of third-party rights.
17. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Service. Upon termination, access to the Service ends.
18. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Jurisdiction is exclusively in courts located in Georgia.

Account and Data Deletion
Users can delete their Localz account and associated data directly within the Localz mobile app.
How to delete your account
To permanently delete your account, open the Localz app and follow this path:
Login → You → Settings (cog icon) → Account Settings → Remove Account
You must be logged into the account you wish to delete. Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
What data is deleted
When you remove your account, the following data is permanently deleted:
- User account information (name, email, authentication data)
- Profile and account settings
- Uploaded images and media
- Organization associations linked to the account
Data retention
Some data may be retained for legal, security, or operational purposes, including:
- Audit or security logs
- Billing or transaction records (if applicable)
Any retained data is kept only as required by law or legitimate business purposes and is not used for marketing.
